If you've been following along here on my website or on TPT, you know I’m all about creating engaging, easy-to-use resources that make life easier for music teachers. But sometimes, I want to go beyond worksheets and slides. I want to bring lessons to life. That’s where the YouTube channel comes in!

🎵 What Is The Music Magpie YouTube Channel?

It’s a growing channel packed with fun, interactive content for elementary music classrooms! On the channel, you'll find:

• Ready-to-use music games

• Rhythm follow alongs.

• Sub-friendly activities

• Movement Activities

• Seasonal content

• Classroom favorites like Frank the Astronaut and Fred the Music Ghost 👻🚀

Every video is designed with real kids and real classrooms in mind. Whether you’re teaching K-5 or planning a quick activity for a sub day, the goal is to make your job easier and your students’ day more magical.

🧠 Why I Started the Channel

After years of teaching everything from band to general music (with three kids of my own at home!), I realized there weren’t a lot of visual, interactive resources out there that matched how we actually teach music.

I started filming videos that my students loved—and then I started sharing them with other teachers. It’s been incredible to see the response and to know that something I made is helping music teachers and students in classrooms all over the place!
